Our Services

The Exploratory Phase is designed to educate students on what opportunities are available to them for their college experience. The goal is to educate each student as to what different colleges and universities have to offer so that they can begin to understand how their individual talents can be developed, nurtured, and celebrated at the schools they eventually select for applications.

This process includes:

  • Helping students understand what college is all about

  • Assisting students and families with defining college priorities, including financial, social, academic, and geographic considerations

  • Working with students to understand how to conduct effective college research

  • Developing a preliminary college list

  • Exploring potential majors and areas of academic interest

  • Crafting a resume

  • Assisting with college visit itineraries

  • Developing SAT/ACT testing strategy/timeline

  • SAT/ACT Prep (subject to availability)

The Execution Phase is when we get down to the business of the applications! The process includes:

  1. Essays: collaborative brainstorming, drafting, and editing support for all essays (Common Application/Supplemental Essays/Scholarship Essays/Coalition Application/UC Application/Apply Texas and more!)

  2. Finalizing the student’s college list

  3. Creating a personalized timeline for strategic application submission (project management)

  4. Holistic and detailed application reviews

  5. Interview preparation

All services are offered on an hourly basis. College10 recognizes that each family’s needs will differ, and an hourly approach allows families to choose what services are most responsive to their students’ needs. Many families enter the process with a very little background on the current landscape of college admissions while other families have had other students go through the process and need less intensive assistance. All families begin with a 2-hour consultation after which Natalie provides a written proposal for counseling, outlining the exercises that Natalie believes will benefit the student. She then works directly with families to create a timeline of objectives that will make the college admissions experience as efficient, effective, and fun as possible!
